Environmental conservation is one of the most important issues that Blackpeak cares about. We believe that every small step can lead to a big change for the environment.
This Earth Day, we would like to share what we have been doing at our offices to help protect the environment.
“No More Plastic Fruit Cups” in the Hong Kong Office
We used to provide weekly fruit cups for our team in Hong Kong. Last year, we decided to cut plastic waste by replacing the fruit cups with fresh fruit for the team every day.

“Say No to Plastic” Campaign in the Singapore Office

In our Singapore office, we have tried to promote a plastic-free workplace and encourage our team to use their own reusable containers to buy food and drinks. Anyone who comes back to the office with any kind of plastic has to pay SGD 0.50 per item as “Green Fines,” which are donated to environmental charities.
“Hiking Trail Clean-Up” in the Beijing Office
Displaying Eco-friendly Posters in the Shanghai Office

We display posters to remind our team to use less paper and save energy at the office in Shanghai. We also encourage our team to avoid using disposable goods to reduce the waste that ends up in landfills.
Collecting Recyclables in the Tokyo Office
Apart from sorting out the trash into several categories (combustible garbage, non-combustible garbage, and plastic and glass bottles), our team in Japan also collects plastic bottle caps to recycle them.
